Mohbad's autopsy reveals possible anaphylactic shock as the cause of death, inconclusive due to the body's decomposition. Antihistamine was found but not at lethal levels. Raises questions about the nurse's role.

The long-awaited autopsy report on the death of Nigerian singer Mohbad has finally been released, providing some insights into the mysterious circumstances surrounding his passing. The report, obtained from the Lagos State University Teaching Hospital (LASUTH), states that while no definitive cause of death could be established due to the body's decomposed state, there is a possibility that Mohbad may have suffered a fatal anaphylactic shock or drug reaction.

The autopsy revealed that Mohbad had sustained an injury on his right forearm, and samples taken from his body tested positive for the antihistamine Diphenhydramine, although not at a lethal concentration. The report notes that the ideal way to determine if anaphylactic shock occurred would have been to take blood samples immediately after death, which was impossible since Mohbad was buried just two days after passing away on September 12, 2023.

The findings add another layer of complexity to the controversy surrounding Mohbad's death, which led to the arrest of several individuals, including an auxiliary nurse who had administered injections to the singer shortly before his demise. While the nurse was initially considered the prime suspect, the autopsy's inconclusive nature raises further questions about the events leading up to the tragic incident.
