A Lagos coroner court in Ikorodu has summoned Primeboy, Naira Marley, and Sam Larry to appear in court on October 25 as part of an ongoing inquest to determine the circumstances surrounding the death of Mohbad. Mohbad passed away on September 12, and his burial took place the next day, sparking controversy and protests on social media. Feyisola Ogedengbe, Naira Marley, Sam Larry, and Primeboy are currently in police custody in connection with the investigation into Mohbad's death.
The police exhumed Mohbad's corpse on September 21 for an autopsy, and they await the results. Last week, the police named Feyisola Ogedengbe, the auxiliary nurse who administered injections to Mohbad, as "the prime suspect" in the singer's death. The police commissioner stated that the injections administered by the auxiliary nurse triggered an immediate reaction that resulted in Mohbad's death. The injections included tetanus toxoid, paracetamol, and ceftriaxone injection (IV), which were given at Mohbad's residence. The court's summons is part of the effort to uncover the truth surrounding this tragic incident.
