Nigerian skitmaker and activist, Mr. Macaroni, has voiced strong criticism of the current administration, accusing them of hypocrisy and insensitivity toward citizens' hardships. In a tweet on November 19, 2024, he asserted that only the Nigerian people—not politicians—have the right to hold leaders accountable, past or present.

Mr. Macaroni condemned members of the current government for criticizing past administrations while neglecting their responsibility to alleviate the nation's struggles. He highlighted the insensitivity of leaders who prioritize luxury expenses, such as private jets and expensive cars, while Nigerians endure widespread poverty. He likened the government's behavior to wielding a "whip" to oppress the people and divert attention from their failings.
