Naira Marley has shared old chats with Iyabo Ojo from 2021-2022, contradicting her claim of never interacting with him. The feud, ignited by the mysterious death of Marley’s former signee, Mohbad, has escalated into legal disputes, with both parties seeking damages and accusing each other of damaging reputations.
Naira Marley has shared conversations from 2021 and 2022 on his Instagram, refuting actress Iyabo Ojo’s claim that they never interacted. The chats, which feature Ojo inviting Marley to her movie premiere and seeking his support for an adopted son, contradict her earlier statement.
The feud between the two began after the mysterious death of Marley’s former label signee, Mohbad, in September 2023. Ojo has been vocal about seeking justice for Mohbad, which led to a public dispute with Marley. In December 2024, Marley demanded N500 million in damages from Ojo for allegedly linking him to Mohbad’s death.
Ojo, in response, countersued Marley, requesting N1 billion, accusing him of attempting to tarnish her reputation by making the lawsuit public. The feud has sparked significant public attention, with both sides taking legal action.
