Chairman of the Nigerians in Diaspora Commission, Abike Dabiri-Erewa, emphasized the imperative of a lasting solution to eradicate human trafficking in Nigeria, asserting the necessity to declare war against traffickers.
She urged parents to vigilantly monitor their children's whereabouts and advocated for collective efforts to identify and prosecute traffickers. Additionally, the rescued girls will undergo counseling and rehabilitation under the National Agency for the Prohibition of Trafficking in Persons before returning to their respective states.
