President Bola Ahmed Tinubu arrived in Paris, France, on Wednesday for a three-day state visit, landing at Orly Airport at 5:10 PM local time. His visit comes at the invitation of French President Emmanuel Macron, focusing on strengthening bilateral relations.

Accompanied by his wife, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, the Nigerian leader is set to engage in discussions aimed at enhancing political, economic, and cultural cooperation between the two nations. Key areas of focus include agriculture, energy transition, security, education, healthcare, and youth innovation.

On Thursday, Tinubu and his delegation will be hosted at the historic Les Invalides and the Élysée Palace by President Macron and France’s First Lady, Brigitte Macron. The event will feature formal ceremonies, bilateral talks, and high-level meetings emphasizing shared priorities in finance, trade, solid minerals, and communication.

A major highlight of the visit is Tinubu's participation in a session organized by the France-Nigeria Business Council. The council facilitates private sector investment to drive economic development and innovation in both countries.

Youth engagement is a central theme of the trip, with plans to advance exchange programs in automation, entrepreneurship, and leadership training. The visit underscores Nigeria's commitment to fostering international partnerships for economic growth and development.
