The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, asserted his political stronghold during a thanksgiving service in Rivers State, confidently proclaiming that no one can challenge his camp in the upcoming 2027 elections.
Wike, speaking at Senator Barinada Mpigi's event in Koroma, Tai Local Government Area, emphasized the unique unity within his party, comparing it to an unparalleled leadership alliance. Despite the presence of both APC and PDP leaders, Wike highlighted Rivers State as the sole example of such unity.
The minister's bold declaration, however, faced scrutiny, as critics questioned the sustainability of this unity. Wike also called for support for President Bola Tinubu's economic reform policies, acknowledging the challenges ahead.
