Transitioning to a solo career in 1976 with The Kabaka International Guitar Band, he released fourteen albums, including the acclaimed 'Mangala Special', and showcased his versatility by exploring Ezebongo rhythms.
His triumphant return in September 2023 with 'The Return of Kabaka' album, which garnered over a million streams and global acclaim, solidified his status as a Highlife legend.
