President Bola Tinubu is set to depart Abuja for Dakar, Senegal, to attend the inauguration of Senegal’s President-elect, Bassirou Diomaye Faye, as announced by his spokesperson, Ajuri Ngelale.
Tinubu, the Chairman of the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) Authority of Heads of State and Government, will join other regional leaders at the Diamniadio Exhibition Centre on Tuesday for the ceremony.
He will be accompanied by the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Yusuf Maitama Tuggar, and other senior government officials.
The trip underscores Nigeria's commitment to regional partnerships and its role within ECOWAS.
Tinubu is expected to return to Nigeria after the inauguration, continuing his diplomatic engagements within the West African region.
