Rabiu Kwankwaso, the national leader of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP), has expressed strong confidence in his party's prospects for the 2027 presidential election. Speaking at the inauguration of the NNPP Secretariat in Katsina, Kwankwaso emphasized that the party is fully prepared to claim the presidency and various state positions across Nigeria.

The former governor of Kano highlighted the party's commitment to success, dismissing the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) as "already dead" due to its perceived failures. He urged Nigerians, particularly women and youth, to remain vigilant against potential manipulation through monetary incentives in the upcoming elections.

Kwankwaso praised the efforts of party leaders in Katsina for their commitment to enhancing the party’s infrastructure and emphasized the importance of grassroots engagement. The NNPP chairman in Katsina, Armaya’u Abdulkadir, announced plans to educate the electorate about the party’s new logo, which symbolizes a commitment to education for all, a central concern for the Kwankwasiyya movement.

Kwankwaso's remarks reflect a broader ambition within the NNPP to reshape Nigeria's political landscape ahead of the next general elections, underscoring their readiness to challenge the established political order.
