In a recent interview with media personality Timi Agbaje, Nollywood actress Lizzy Anjorin addressed allegations of theft that surfaced in February 2024. The actress firmly denied accusations that she had stolen gold jewelry worth ₦90,000 from a market.

Anjorin, who identifies as a jewelry and fabric vendor, emphasized the implausibility of the claim. She pointed out that the alleged stolen item was worth far less than the current market value of gold, making the accusation seem nonsensical.

The actress expressed her frustration with the situation, stating that as a certified jewelry seller dealing in gold and diamonds, she would never resort to such behavior. Anjorin stressed her integrity and discipline, asserting that she is "too straightforward" to engage in theft.

The allegations stemmed from a viral video in February 2024, showing Anjorin in a shop surrounded by accusers. At the time, she claimed she was framed by someone she referred to as "Shekpeteri."

Anjorin's interview aims to clear her name and present her side of the story, maintaining her innocence in the face of what she considers baseless accusations.
