The Ogun State Police Command has launched an investigation into the tragic death of Ariyo, a student from Obada Idi-Emi High School in Imeko Afon Local Government Area, Ogun State. The police spokesperson, Omolola Odutola, clarified that the student was required to perform 162 frog jumps and received 24 strokes of the cane. During the punishment, Ariyo reportedly began to vomit, lost consciousness, and later succumbed to his injuries after being taken to FMC Idi-Aba hospital.
