The incident occurred on Thursday morning, leaving the community in shock. A close family friend revealed that Mrs. Aina, in her 50s and married to a retired Principal, drove herself to school but began feeling unwell. Despite obtaining permission from the Principal to seek medical attention, she collapsed beside her car. Rushed to the Olabisi Onabanjo University Teaching Hospital, Ijebu Igbo annex, she was confirmed dead.

The news has cast a pall of mourning over the entire school, highlighting Mrs. Aina's dedication and affection for students and colleagues. Concerns about the health and well-being of teachers in Ogun State were voiced, attributing the rising mortality rate among teachers to the stress induced by a shortage of educators. The Chairman of the Academic Staff Union of Secondary Schools, Ogun State, Felix Agbesanwa, acknowledged the teacher shortage challenge and welcomed the recent efforts by the government to employ more educators, expressing hope for further measures to address teachers' well-being.
