A 28-year-old woman, Yemisi Ogunlana, was arrested by Ogun State police for allegedly injuring her husband, Idowu Adebowale, during an argument. The incident involved the use of a sharp object, leading to serious injuries. The case highlights issues surrounding domestic violence and anger management.

Yemisi Ogunlana, a 28-year-old woman, was apprehended by Ogun State police after allegedly injuring her husband, Idowu Adebowale, during a dispute. The event took place in the Oko-Oba area of Ogijo, where Yemisi reportedly used a sharp object in the attack.

As per the police spokesperson, Omolola Odutola, the husband reported the incident to the Ogijo police station at around 5:15 p.m. He stated that the confrontation occurred on October 15 at approximately 4:30 a.m., during which Yemisi caused a serious injury to his manhood.

Idowu showed police his injury, which included a significant cut near the tip of his penis. Due to the seriousness of the injury and the delay in receiving medical attention, he was given a medical form and advised to seek treatment.

After her arrest, Yemisi denied the allegations during questioning. The case will be handed over to the State Criminal Investigation Department (SCID) in Abeokuta for further investigation.
