PSG is reportedly targeting Nigerian forward Victor Osimhen in the January transfer window. Despite a €75 million release clause in his contract with Napoli, the deal involves additional fees to Galatasaray, where Osimhen is currently on loan. PSG’s interest in Osimhen intensifies amid his stellar performances.

Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) is reportedly setting its sights on Nigerian forward Victor Osimhen for a potential January move, according to Italian reports. The 25-year-old striker, who is currently on loan at Galatasaray from Napoli, has been in excellent form this season, netting 10 goals and contributing 5 assists in 13 matches across all competitions. Despite a recent injury, Osimhen remains a key target for PSG, with the club’s director, Luis Campos, known to be an admirer of the player from their time together at Lille.

However, any move for Osimhen in January will be complicated by the terms of his contract. Osimhen has a €75 million release clause with Napoli that becomes active in January, but PSG would also need to negotiate with Galatasaray. The Turkish club is entitled to an additional €6 million fee for releasing Osimhen mid-season, adding complexity to the deal.

While Galatasaray is optimistic about retaining Osimhen until the end of the season, PSG's strong desire to strengthen their attack could push them to navigate these contractual hurdles. Osimhen’s future is now uncertain as the transfer window approaches, with PSG’s persistence likely to increase as they aim to secure the Nigerian striker for their squad.
