Napoli’s sporting director Giovanni Manna has dismissed the idea of Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen making a permanent move to Turkish club Galatasaray. In a statement to Webaslan, Manna explained that Galatasaray does not have the financial capacity to activate the €75 million buyout clause in Osimhen’s contract.
Osimhen, 25, joined Galatasaray on a loan deal in September, and while the Turkish side showed interest in securing his services long-term, Manna confirmed that negotiations are off the table. He noted that despite Galatasaray’s interest, other clubs are prepared to meet the buyout clause, which keeps the striker in demand.
Since his arrival, Osimhen has been in excellent form for Galatasaray. However, Napoli’s decision has effectively ruled out a permanent transfer to the Turkish club.
While Osimhen’s future remains uncertain, Manna made it clear that the 25-year-old forward is highly valued at Napoli, and the club is not entertaining a move to Galatasaray. Osimhen’s performances continue to attract attention from top European clubs, ensuring his name remains in the headlines amid speculation about his next career move.
