A court in Ekiti has set his bail at ₦30 million, requiring two sureties (one with a house), a passport surrender, and restrictions on media interactions. Obi’s spokesperson, Tanko Yunusa, shared on X (formerly Twitter) that Obi, a staunch advocate for the rule of law, offered to meet these bail conditions, emphasizing fairness and adherence to the judicial process.
