Phil Foden and Bunny Shaw have been named the 2024 PFA Players of the Year, following their outstanding performances in their respective leagues. Foden, also the FWA Footballer of the Year, continues Manchester City's legacy, while Shaw led the Women's Super League in goals, showcasing her exceptional talent.

Phil Foden of Manchester City and Bunny Shaw from the City women's team have been recognized as the PFA Players of the Year for 2024. Foden, who is 24 years old, recently completed an impressive individual award double by also winning the Football Writers' Association (FWA) Footballer of the Year title, following his contributions to Manchester City's fourth consecutive Premier League title.

At the PFA Awards dinner held in Manchester, Foden received the Player's Player of the Year trophy, adding to his previous accolades, which included two PFA Young Player of the Year awards in 2021 and 2022. His remarkable performances have established him as one of the standout players in the league, continuing the trend of City players receiving this honor in recent years.

On the women's side, Bunny Shaw claimed the Women's Player's Player of the Year award after finishing as the top scorer in the Women's Super League (WSL) with 21 goals, significantly outpacing her closest competitors. Shaw’s excellence on the field has also earned her the FWA Women’s Footballer of the Year award, highlighting her remarkable season.

Additionally, Chelsea's Cole Palmer was awarded the PFA Young Player of the Year, having a stellar debut season with 27 goals and 15 assists after his transfer from Manchester City. Meanwhile, Grace Clinton from Manchester United was honored as the Women's Young Player of the Year following a successful loan spell at Tottenham.
