Philip Agbese, Nigerian lawmaker, denies bribery allegations from Binance executive Tigran Gambaryan. He insists he was never involved in demanding a $150 million bribe and has no links to cryptocurrency trading. Agbese demands that Gambaryan provide evidence or face legal action. He also clarifies he is not on the investigation committee.

Philip Agbese, a member of Nigeria's House of Representatives, has denied bribery allegations made by Tigran Gambaryan, an executive of Binance Holdings Limited. Gambaryan accused Agbese, along with two other lawmakers, of demanding a $150 million bribe in cryptocurrency. In response, Agbese refuted the claims, stating that he was never involved in any meetings or bribe demands related to Binance. He emphasized that he is not a member of the Committee on Economic and Financial Crimes and has no connections to any alleged bribery activities. Agbese clarified that he had only visited his colleague, Hon. Peter Akpanke, during an office meeting about Binance's activities and had no involvement in further discussions with the cryptocurrency firm.

Agbese further stated that Binance had already apologized for the matter, and he was not involved in any cryptocurrency dealings, nor did he have a crypto wallet. He demanded that Gambaryan either provide evidence of the bribery claim or apologize within seven days, or face legal action. Agbese's stance is clear—he denies the allegations and insists the matter should be directed to the Committee on Economic and Financial Crimes, as he was not part of the alleged wrongdoing.
