Ghana’s President-Elect, John Dramani Mahama, paid a courtesy visit to Nigerian President Bola Tinubu at the Presidential Villa on Monday.

The visit comes in the wake of Mahama’s victory in Ghana’s December 7 general election. President Tinubu, who had earlier congratulated Mahama via a phone call, expressed optimism about strengthened bilateral relations and regional stability under Mahama’s leadership.

Tinubu highlighted the importance of collaboration between both nations, particularly within the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS), to address shared challenges in West Africa.
