The Digest:

The Nigeria Police Force (NPF) has released the official list of documents and items required for candidates participating in the 2026 Police Constable screening exercise. Applicants must present the following at designated centres across all states and the FCT:

REQUIRED DOCUMENTS:
  1. Guarantors Form (duly completed and signed, with photocopies and passport photographs of referees attached)
  2. Application Submission Slip
  3. Invitation Slip (showing assigned table)
  4. Credentials Screening Form
  5. Physical Screening Form
  6. Original National Identity Number (NIN) printout or NIMC-issued card
  7. O' Level (GCE/SSCE) Certificate
  8. Birth Certificate or Declaration of Age
  9. Local Government/State of Origin Certificate
  10. Trade Test/Certificate (for specialist applicants only)
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
  • Original and duplicate copies of credentials, neatly arranged in two separate white flat files with recent passport photographs attached
  • White canvas shoes, white T-shirts, white shorts, and white stockings (dress code)
Candidates must appear at their designated screening centres as specified on their invitation slips and strictly comply with all instructions to avoid disqualification.
