Justice Bolaji Olajuwon of the Federal High Court in Abuja has ruled that the five Port Harcourt-based men, Chime Eguma Ezebalike, Prince Lukman Oladele, Kenneth Goodluck Kpasa, Osiga Donald, and Ochueja Thankgod, arraigned by the Federal Government on terrorism charges, be remanded at Kuje Prison in Abuja until February 2.
The charges include alleged terrorism offenses related to the invasion, vandalism, and burning down of the Rivers State House of Assembly Complex during political turmoil last October.
The suspects, accused of being linked to various cult groups, such as Supreme Viking Confraternity, Degbam, Iceland, and Greenland, are also charged with the killing of a Superintendent of Police and five police informants.
The court has set the date for determining their bail applications and full-blown trial.
