Portable criticized Zlatan Ibile in a recent interview, calling him a “bad friend” to both him and the late Mohbad. He accused Zlatan of failing to defend Mohbad after an alleged attack and suggested the rapper exploited his success for personal gain. Portable also recalled a past fallout with Zlatan.

Controversial Nigerian singer Portable recently discussed his fallout with fellow artist Zlatan Ibile, describing him as a "bad friend" to both himself and the late Mohbad. In an interview on the EchoRoom podcast, Portable criticized Zlatan for not speaking out after Mohbad was allegedly attacked by Sam Larry, despite posting a video of the incident.

Portable’s comments shed light on his frustrations with Zlatan, claiming that the rapper failed to defend Mohbad when the latter was reportedly mistreated. He also accused Zlatan of using him for personal gain, stating that the rapper did not have much musical success despite being widely recognized. Portable reflected on a conversation with a car dealer, who advised him to avoid Zlatan, suggesting the rapper sought to benefit from Portable's success.

Though Portable did not directly accuse Zlatan of deceiving Mohbad, he suggested that Zlatan’s actions contributed to the tragic situation. He also recalled a previous conflict with Zlatan, where the latter allegedly advised Davido to stay cautious around him, which led to a strain in his relationship with the Nigerian music icon.

The interview further emphasized Portable’s concerns about the treatment of artists within the industry, particularly how they are manipulated and taken advantage of by their peers.
