Controversial Nigerian singer Portable has reached out to crossdresser Bobrisky, encouraging her to rethink her lifestyle choices and seek repentance. This message comes as Bobrisky deals with the fallout from her recent legal troubles.

Bobrisky, born Idris Okuneye, was released from prison on August 5 after serving a six-month sentence for abusing the naira. The situation escalated when Martin ‘VeryDarkMan’ Otse released an audio recording claiming that Bobrisky bribed Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) officials with N15 million to have charges against her dropped. In response, Bobrisky refuted the claims, insisting that the recording was fabricated and asserting her completion of the prison term. The EFCC has initiated an investigation into the bribery allegations.

In light of Bobrisky’s recent admissions of suicidal thoughts, Portable took to Instagram to advise her against such drastic actions. He emphasized the importance of repentance, saying, “Life is risky. God does not want sinners to die. Tell him to repent.” He encouraged Bobrisky to seek God’s forgiveness, believing that doing so could lead to a more positive and fulfilling life.

Portable’s message highlights the significant mental health challenges faced by public figures in Nigeria and serves as a reminder of the potential for personal transformation through spiritual reflection. As Bobrisky navigates these challenges, Portable’s advice offers a pathway toward healing and redemption.
