Nigeria's First Lady, Oluremi Tinubu, called on religious leaders to pray for the government instead of criticizing or insulting it. Speaking on October 21 at the International Conference of the African Biblical Leadership Initiative (ABLI) in Abuja, Tinubu, represented by Princess Gloria Akobundu, highlighted the significant challenges African leadership faces.

She urged religious leaders to foster peace and development by preaching value-based leadership rooted in justice, integrity, and wisdom. Tinubu emphasized the importance of constructive dialogue, encouraging leaders to speak the truth rather than curse the government.
