President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and his wife, Oluremi Tinubu, will embark on a three-day state visit to France starting on Wednesday. The visit, which follows an invitation from French President Emmanuel Macron, aims to strengthen Nigeria-France relations in key areas such as security, economic development, and youth engagement.
According to a statement from Tinubu’s Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, the visit will focus on fostering political, economic, and cultural ties between the two nations. Key areas of discussion will include security cooperation, agriculture, education, energy transition, and innovation.
The couple will be received on Thursday at the iconic Les Invalides and Palais de l’Élysée in Paris by President Macron and his wife, Brigitte. Their visit will include official ceremonies and bilateral talks, particularly aimed at enhancing skills development for Nigerian youth in areas like automation, entrepreneurship, and leadership.
