President Bola Tinubu has appointed Ahmed Aminu as the Executive Secretary and Chief Executive Officer of the Petroleum Technology Development Fund (PTDF) for an initial four-year term. Aminu previously held the position of General Manager of the Education and Training Department at the PTDF. His appointment follows the retirement request of the outgoing Executive Secretary/CEO, Bello Aliyu Gusau, who will begin a 90-day pre-retirement leave on September 26, 2023.
Ahmed Aminu Aminu is directed to serve in an acting capacity until he formally commences his four-year term on December 26, 2023. Ajuri Ngelale, Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, conveyed this announcement. President Tinubu expressed his well-wishes for the new PTDF Executive Secretary/CEO in the discharge of his duties.
