President Bola Tinubu has appointed seven new executive directors to the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA) to enhance its broadcast capabilities. The appointments include Ayo Adewuyi as Executive Director of News and others overseeing Special Duties, Finance, Administration, Programmes, Engineering, and Marketing, aiming to revitalize Nigeria's media landscape.

President Bola Tinubu has appointed seven new executive directors to the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA) as part of his administration’s strategy to revitalize the country's broadcast sector. The appointments, effective immediately, aim to bring fresh expertise and innovation to the NTA.

In the announcement made by Bayo Onanuga, the Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Ayo Adewuyi has been reappointed as Executive Director of News, while Ibrahim Aliyu will serve as Executive Director of Special Duties. Additionally, Malam Muhammed Fatuhu Mustapha will oversee Administration and Training, and Mrs. Apinke Effiong has been named Executive Director of Finance.

Further appointees include Mrs. Tari Taylaur as Executive Director of Programmes, Mr. Sadique Musa Omeiza as Executive Director of Engineering, and Mrs. Oluwakemi Fashina, who will manage Marketing.

These appointments bring a wealth of experience to the NTA. Mrs. Effiong has extensive expertise in financial management and marketing, while Mrs. Taylaur is an accomplished showrunner and content producer. Mrs. Fashina, a certified marketer, adds her skills in integrated marketing communications to the team.
