Owodunni Ibrahim, widely known as Primeboy, has surrendered to the Lagos State Police Command just a day after being declared wanted in connection with the death of Oladimeji Aloba, popularly known as Mohbad. The police had previously announced a N1 million bounty on Primeboy, a close childhood friend of the late singer, Mohbad.

According to Benjamin Hundeyin, the spokesperson for the Lagos police command, Primeboy failed to respond to an invitation regarding the singer's death, leading to the declaration. There have been unverified claims that Primeboy struck Mohbad with a mystical object during a confrontation between the two.

Hundeyin, in a recent update, stated, "Following his declaration as wanted, Owodunni Ibrahim Oluwatosin aka Primeboy, has turned himself in. He is now in custody for further questioning and necessary procedures." The Lagos State Police Command has reassured the public, Mohbad's fans, family, and friends that they are committed to a thorough investigation and that anyone responsible for Mohbad's death will face justice.

Furthermore, renowned music artist Azeez Fashola, known as Naira Marley, and his associate Balogun Eletu, alias Sam Larry, were detained concerning Mohbad's death. Mohbad tragically passed away in Lagos on September 12, 2023, and was laid to rest the following day. However, for autopsy reasons, the police later exhumed his body.
