The four remaining siblings of the late Nabeeha Al-Kadriyah, who was tragically killed by her abductors, have now been freed. Initially abducted alongside their father in the Zuma 1 area of Bwari Area Council on January 2nd, the family faced a grim situation when the kidnappers, dissatisfied with the ransom progress, raised the stakes from N60 million to N100 million. With a threat to harm all the sisters, concerned Nigerians rallied to offer assistance, drawing attention to the plight of the family.
Despite indications that a ransom may have been paid, the FCT Anti-Kidnapping squad, in collaboration with Nigerian Army troops, successfully rescued the victims around Kajuru forest in Kaduna State on Saturday night. The Police Public Relations Officer, Josephine Adeh, confirmed the release, highlighting the concerted efforts that led to the sisters' freedom. The family, now reunited but scarred by tragedy, emerges from this ordeal with a glimmer of hope amid the collective sympathy and support extended by the nation.
