In a swift response to a robbery in Kuwait, two Nigerian nationals were apprehended by the Kuwaiti General Department of Criminal Investigation (GDCI) in the Ahmadi Province. The suspects were allegedly involved in a heist at an exchange office in the Mahboula district, where they made off with $14,918.69 (approximately 4,600 Kuwaiti Dinars).

The Ministry of Interior reported that the suspects were captured within 24 hours of the crime. Security footage revealed one of the suspects, wearing a balaclava, entering the exchange office and threatening an employee with what appeared to be a firearm. The investigation uncovered that the suspects had meticulously planned the robbery, monitoring the office from nearby rooftops to identify the best time to strike. Additionally, they used stolen license plates to hide the identities of their vehicles.

Following their arrest, one of the suspects admitted to scouting the location and notifying his accomplice when the office was free of customers. The second suspect was apprehended at the Al-Qurain Market. During the raid on his residence, authorities recovered the stolen money, along with a bag containing crystal meth. The two suspects have been referred to the public prosecution for further legal proceedings, and their case is under investigation.
