Salome Eleojo Adaidu, a 24-year-old NYSC member and graduate of Kogi State University, was tragically murdered and dismembered by gospel singer Timileyin Ajayi in Orozo, Abuja. Loved ones refuted claims of a romantic relationship between Salome and the suspect, stating they had never known or heard of him.

Salome, who recently lost her father, was nearing the completion of her service year in March 2025. Her sister, Patience Adaidu, revealed that Salome went missing after visiting a friend and was later found brutally murdered. Witnesses reported that Ajayi was apprehended while carrying Salome’s severed head, leading to his arrest.

The family, still grieving, has criticized the police for a lack of updates on the case and is demanding justice. Friends and family insist Salome was not romantically involved with Ajayi and are calling on Nigerians to support their quest for accountability.
