Vice President Kashim Shettima addressed concerns about Nigeria's economic challenges during a town hall meeting organized by the Presidential Enabling Business Environment Council (PEBEC) in Abuja on Friday. Acknowledging the turbulence in Nigeria's economy, Shettima emphasized that these difficulties were not unique to Nigeria but part of global economic challenges.

"This is a man we need to rally around and support," Shettima urged, referring to President Bola Tinubu. He called for fairness in assessing Tinubu's leadership amidst economic turbulence, pointing out that no economy is immune from the current global economic climate.

Shettima highlighted the importance of reforms in fostering economic growth, stating, "Every thriving economy grows from the quality of reforms adopted to offer the people avenues to translate their business ideas into formidable enterprises."
