A man in Bulawayo, Energy Moyo, files for divorce due to recurring dreams of his wife cheating on him, citing these vivid dreams and alleged abuse as reasons for their irreparable marriage breakdown.
In a highly unusual case, Energy Moyo from Bulawayo has filed for divorce due to recurring dreams of his wife, Angela Dube, cheating on him. Married for nine years, Moyo claims these vivid dreams, involving his wife and their neighbor, have caused him significant distress and led to an irreparable breakdown of their relationship.

Despite lacking concrete evidence, Moyo is convinced of Dube's infidelity based on these persistent dreams, which began early in their marriage. In his application to the Bulawayo Customary Court, Moyo stated that attempts to discuss the dreams with Dube resulted in verbal and physical abuse from her. This alleged abuse, combined with the emotional turmoil caused by the dreams, has driven him to seek a divorce.

Moyo is also requesting custody of their two children and an equal division of their household property, believing this to be in the best interest of his children. The case has yet to be heard by the court, leaving the outcome of this unusual divorce application uncertain.
