The Bauchi State Police Command is investigating the tragic killing of 20-year-old Hajara Isa, allegedly at the hands of her co-wife, Fatima Mohammed. The incident occurred on February 28, 2025, in Anguwan Sarakuna, Bauchi. Reports indicate that Fatima strangled Hajara before attempting to cover up the crime by pouring boiling water on her body and setting it on fire with a plastic sack.
The police confirmed Fatima's arrest and stated that she confessed to the act. Authorities have transferred the case to the State Criminal Investigation Department (SCID) for further inquiry.
