Bayo Jeje, a bricklayer from Ondo, reportedly fled after his wife, Iyanu, gave birth to triplets at a private hospital. Abandoning his family without support, the incident has drawn public outrage. Senator Jimoh Ibrahim intervened, providing financial assistance to the struggling family in their time of need.

In a shocking turn of events, Bayo Jeje, a bricklayer from Ondo State, allegedly fled after his wife, Iyanu Ehuwa Jeje, gave birth to triplets at a private hospital in Igbokoda, Ilaje Local Government Area. The incident, which occurred on Tuesday at Aribo Hospital, has left the mother and her newborn babies stranded.

Sources reveal that Jeje was present when his wife went into labor at Igbokoda Health Centre. However, due to the absence of a doctor, she was transferred to Aribo Hospital, where she delivered three baby boys. Instead of celebrating this joyous occasion, Jeje reportedly expressed frustration over his financial difficulties before abruptly leaving, abandoning his wife in the hospital without any support for the babies.

Health workers at Aribo Hospital raised the alarm upon realizing that Jeje had disappeared, leaving his wife in a vulnerable situation. The hospital confirmed that the senator representing Ondo South, Jimoh Ibrahim, intervened after the news reached him. He promptly instructed his aide, Juwon Ade-Aworetan, to provide immediate financial assistance to the family.

Jeje’s abandonment of his wife and children has sparked outrage, as it underscores the dire challenges faced by many families. The community now waits to see how the situation will unfold as they seek justice for the mother and her triplets.
