A Delta Airlines Bombardier CR900 made an emergency crash landing at Toronto Pearson International Airport on Monday, February 17, 2025. The aircraft, traveling from Minneapolis to Toronto, flipped upside down during the landing, causing shock and fear among the 80 passengers and crew onboard.

The incident occurred around 2:45 p.m. local time, and all individuals aboard were safely evacuated following the crash. The Federal Aviation Administration confirmed that emergency teams responded quickly, but the airport briefly closed down, diverting other flights to nearby airports. Video footage from one of the survivors captured the chaos inside the plane, showing passengers, including one woman hanging upside down, trying to escape the overturned aircraft.

Peel Regional Paramedic Services reported that 15 people were transported to local hospitals. Among them, one child and two adults sustained critical injuries, while the remaining individuals had minor to moderate injuries.

Delta Airlines issued a statement acknowledging the incident, expressing their commitment to ensuring the safety of passengers and working with authorities to gather more details. The cause of the crash is still under investigation, with the airline providing updates as information becomes available.
