Lokoja Local Government Council Chairman, Hon. Muhammed Danasabe Muhammed, has passed away, confirmed at 4:30 am in a Lokoja hospital after collapsing at his residence.
The late chairman, actively involved in political meetings for the upcoming governorship election, was rushed to Shifa Hospital, Lokoja, where doctors declared him clinically dead. Hailing from ward B in the cantonment area of Lokoja, he will be laid to rest at the Unguwan Kura Muslim cemetery following Friday's Juma’at prayer.
The sudden demise drew sympathizers to his family house in the cantonment area. Survived by his mother, wife, and children, Muhammed's death was verified by the All Progressives Congress (APC) Lokoja PRO, Talba Lakwaja, who announced the burial at Anguwan Kura burial ground immediately after Juma’at prayer.
