Skitmaker Mr. Macaroni calls on Lagos Governor Sanwo-Olu to address dangerous potholes on city roads, stressing the urgent need for infrastructure improvements. His viral tweet criticizes the government’s focus on ceremonial duties, sparking public outcry over road safety and government accountability in Lagos.

Nigerian skitmaker Mr. Macaroni recently criticized Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu on Twitter, highlighting the deteriorating state of roads in Lagos. He urged the governor to personally inspect the city’s roads instead of focusing solely on ceremonial duties like welcoming President Bola Tinubu back from international trips.

“Hello Mr Governor @jidesanwoolu,” he tweeted. “One of these days, when you are not too busy with the very serious task of going to the airport in Abuja to welcome Mr. President from an international trip, kindly take a drive around Lagos roads and let us know why the government continues to risk the lives of Lagosians.”

Mr. Macaroni pointed out the numerous potholes affecting Lagos roads, emphasizing the danger they pose to both life and property. His tweet sparked widespread reaction, with several social media users expressing similar frustrations regarding the state of road infrastructure. Some users described certain expressways as “death traps” due to the severe potholes, while others questioned the governor’s priorities, suggesting that more attention should be given to local issues rather than ceremonial responsibilities.
