Omoyele Sowore has labeled President Bola Tinubu, Senate President Godswill Akpabio, and FCT Minister Nyesom Wike as Nigeria’s "most dangerous" leaders. He accuses them of consolidating power through corruption and impunity. Sowore also criticizes the state of emergency in Rivers State, calling it a plot to strengthen Wike’s control.
Omoyele Sowore has labeled President Bola Tinubu, Senate President Godswill Akpabio, and FCT Minister Nyesom Wike as the three most dangerous figures in Nigerian politics. Speaking in an interview with News Central TV, Sowore alleged that these leaders have risen to power through corruption, impunity, and political manipulation without facing any consequences.
He specifically criticized the recent declaration of a state of emergency in Rivers State, describing it as a strategic move to strengthen Wike’s influence over the resource-rich region. According to Sowore, Wike leveraged his relationship with Tinubu to consolidate control, sidelining Governor Siminalayi Fubara.
Sowore further alleged that Nigeria’s political elite, particularly those in the National Assembly, are complicit in supporting Tinubu’s policies, including the controversial emergency declaration. He claimed that lawmakers were financially incentivized to endorse the president’s decision, reinforcing the cycle of political corruption.
The activist called on Nigerians to resist what he sees as a dangerous political alliance, warning that the unchecked power of these leaders poses a significant threat to democracy.
