Nigeria’s Super Eagles climbed three spots in the latest FIFA rankings, now ranking 36th globally and 4th in Africa. This improvement follows their 1-0 AFCON qualifier win over Libya. Argentina maintains the global top spot, while Morocco leads Africa. The next FIFA rankings will be released on November 28, 2024.

Nigeria’s Super Eagles have made notable progress in the latest FIFA men’s rankings released on Thursday, climbing three places to 36th globally. The team gained 5.27 points, moving up from 39th place and also securing fourth in Africa. This rise follows their recent 1-0 victory over Libya in the 2025 AFCON qualifiers, despite currently being without a permanent manager.

Morocco continues to lead the African rankings, while globally, Argentina remains at the top. Other notable shifts include Comoros, the biggest movers, climbing ten spots, while Tunisia experienced the steepest fall, dropping 11 places. On the women's side, Nigeria's Super Falcons held firm at 36th globally and maintained their position as Africa's top team.

The next FIFA rankings will be unveiled on November 28, 2024.
