Super Eagles goalkeeper Stanley Nwabali has been accorded a distinguished chieftaincy title, "The Pride of Egbema Kingdom," by the traditional ruler of Egbema Kingdom, His Royal Majesty, Nzeobi Evaritus Amida.
The honor is in recognition of Nwabali's exceptional performance for the Super Eagles during the recently concluded 2023 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON). His Royal Majesty, Amida, expressed profound gratitude for the shot-stopper's contributions, emphasizing the pride and honor Nwabali has brought to the Egbema Kingdom through his outstanding feats on the football field.
This recognition follows Nwabali's additional accolades, including a reward of N20 million from the Rivers State Governor, Siminalayi Fubara, and the prestigious Distinguished Service Star of River State, solidifying his status as a sporting icon both regionally and nationally
