Super Falcons’ goalkeeper Chiamaka Nnadozie has been honored as the 2024 CAF Women’s Goalkeeper of the Year, marking her second consecutive win of this prestigious award.
The announcement was made during the glittering CAF Awards ceremony at the Palais des Congrès in Marrakech, Morocco, on Monday. Nnadozie, 24, triumphed over strong contenders, including Andile Dlamini, Khadija Er-rmichi, Habiba Sabry, and Fideline Ngoy.
Her consistent brilliance on the field, both for her club and Nigeria’s national team, secured her the accolade. Representing Paris FC in France’s Division 1 Féminine, Nnadozie delivered a standout 2023/24 season, earning recognition as the league’s Goalkeeper of the Season.
