Gunmen posing as operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) abducted 10 individuals from the White Hill Hotel in Chanchaga Local Government Area of Niger State. The incident occurred in the early hours of February 27, 2025.

The attackers, armed and masked as EFCC agents, stormed the hotel and disabled its CCTV cameras to avoid being recorded. They then forcibly abducted 10 hotel guests and took them to an undisclosed location. Security agencies, including the State Intelligence Department (SID), have launched an investigation into the incident.

The authorities have also urged the public to report any suspicious activity as they work to track down the perpetrators and locate the victims. This abduction highlights the growing insecurity in the region, with experts urging for increased vigilance to curb such criminal activities.
