Nigeria’s Transmission Company (TCN) provides 24-hour electricity to Togo and Benin, while Band A customers in Nigeria enjoy up to 22 hours daily. TCN’s MD, Sule Abdulaziz, discussed infrastructure challenges and outlined plans to achieve consistent electricity across Nigeria within five years, amid concerns about recent power grid collapses.

According to its Managing Director, Sule Abdulaziz, Nigeria's Transmission Company (TCN) supplies 24-hour electricity to neighboring countries, Togo and Benin. Speaking on a Channels TV program, Abdulaziz noted that these countries are paying for the service while addressing concerns over Nigeria's inconsistent power supply.

He explained that certain areas in Nigeria, particularly Band A, receive up to 22 hours of electricity daily, but infrastructure challenges and outdated equipment hinder consistent nationwide coverage.

Abdulaziz expressed optimism that Nigeria could achieve a stable electricity supply within five years, as efforts to resolve grid issues continue.
