Pastor Enoch Adeboye, General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), has called for the release of TikToker Olumide Ogunsanwo, known as SeaKing.
Speaking during the church’s February Holy Ghost service in Ogun State, Adeboye referenced prophecies for the year, stating that mockers of faith would become bolder. He expressed surprise at SeaKing’s arrest, emphasizing that his actions align with these prophecies and urged authorities to free him.
SeaKing was detained in December 2024 for alleged cyberbullying of Adeboye and other public figures. He was charged with treason and cyberstalking but was granted bail of ₦500,000. His arrest has sparked debates on free speech and religious criticism.
Beyond this, Adeboye reiterated caution about fire outbreaks, storms, and floods, urging Nigerians to remain prayerful and vigilant.
