Senate President Godswill Akpabio emphasized that Nigeria's current social and economic challenges are not due to President Bola Tinubu's administration. Speaking at the UNICAL '87 Law Class reunion, he attributed these difficulties to years of maladministration, expressing optimism for the future and the administration’s commitment to lasting legacies.

During a recent reunion of the UNICAL '87 Law Class in Calabar, Senate President Godswill Akpabio addressed Nigeria's current social and economic challenges, asserting they are not a result of President Bola Tinubu's administration. He emphasized that the difficulties stem from years of maladministration and inadequate infrastructure.

Akpabio explained that without a solid foundational infrastructure and savings for challenging times, countries are vulnerable during economic downturns. He expressed optimism about the current administration, stating that under President Tinubu, there is hope for a brighter future.

“The good news is that under President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, we have hope today, that there is light at the end of the tunnel,” Akpabio stated, reassuring attendees that the government's efforts are aimed at creating a sustainable legacy for future generations rather than immediate gains.

He concluded by emphasizing that the administration is committed to leaving behind impactful legacies that would contribute to a better Nigeria, affirming that the current challenges should not overshadow the potential for future progress.
