President Bola Tinubu has returned to Abuja after attending a one-day Arab-Islamic summit in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, hosted by King Salman and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman. The summit, held on November 12, 2024, brought together leaders from across the Arab and Islamic world to address pressing issues in the Middle East, including the ongoing Israel-Palestinian conflict.
In his speech, Tinubu urged an immediate ceasefire and called for a peaceful resolution to the conflict, aligning Nigeria with calls for stability in the region. Tinubu arrived at Abuja’s Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport around 8 p.m., where he was welcomed by a delegation of top officials, including Chief of Staff Femi Gbajabiamila, Finance Minister Wale Edun, and Federal Capital Territory Minister Nyesom Wike. APC National Chairman Abdullahi Ganduje was also present.
