President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has traveled to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) to take part in the 2025 Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week. He departed from Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja, on Saturday evening.

The summit, which runs from January 12 to 18, is a global event focused on advancing sustainable development and fostering innovation. Invited by UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Tinubu will join other leaders, policymakers, and industry experts to discuss strategies for building a sustainable economy.

The event’s theme, “The Nexus of Next; Supercharging Sustainable Progress,” emphasizes energy efficiency, public health, and economic transformation. Tinubu is expected to highlight Nigeria’s policy reforms and ongoing efforts to drive socioeconomic progress and energy development.

The summit serves as a platform for nations to share ideas, technologies, and commitments to creating a sustainable future. President Tinubu is scheduled to return to Nigeria on Thursday, January 16, after the event concludes.
