President Bola Tinubu returned to Abuja on September 15, following his official visit to China and a brief stay in the United Kingdom. During his trip to China on August 29, Tinubu met with President Xi Jinping and Chinese Premier Li Qiang.

The visit resulted in signing five memoranda of understanding (MoUs) covering various sectors, including trade, infrastructure, and media cooperation. Tinubu also addressed the China-Africa Cooperation Forum, emphasizing multilateralism for global peace.

After concluding his visit to China, Tinubu traveled to the UK to meet King Charles III to discuss climate change and other global issues.
